SUSTAINABLE KINDERGARTEN IN POLISH ARCHITECTURE MAGAZINE
6 November, 2020 8:28
A new sustainable kindergarten, designed by our Polish office, is featured in the November edition of the architectural Magazine ‘Architektura & Biznes’.
The kindergarten is designed as a prefabricated, modular building that will be assembled directly on the site. In the central atrium there will be planted a tree – a way for the local community to participate in the construction process.
The kindergarten will be sustainable – it is designed using the Passive House principles covering e.g. solar cells, passive shading from the windows, recovery of heat and a well-thought-out structure, optimized for sunlight as well as low footprint materials such as wood. The kindergarten is located in Podkowa Leśna – close to Warsaw, Poland, and will be ready for move-in by 2021.
